Doing much better, I probably was just overtired... again :-P Life has just been frustrating as of late and I take it out on my loyal readers. Sorry about that, friends. I do heart you all, even if I neglect you or rant at you. At work I'm doing video editing, which is pretty darn fun :-) I'm happy that I get to do something that requires a bit of creativity. Basically I'm doing a montage of clips from our videos to go on the website about the kids. And I should explain what that all corresponds to, because its not LINC, but I'll do that in a later post where I also put a nice big quote that I found yesterday in a ridiculously neat manner. God = cool. I'm definitely still strugling spiritually, I think life and spirituality is always a struggle. But again, I'm not going to go into that in depth. If you want to hear all about it, take me out for coffee :-) So now I'm listening to a really really bad song that I really really like because I'm a bad person :-) Well, its not a really really bad song, but it kind of is. Background, people, background... I was listening to show tunes, but I need a little pickmeup, its getting to be about that time. Ok, so, this friday I'm going to get the permit and then we're headed to the chesepeake. My mom was talking about grabbing my car and letting me drive, but its been a couple months... I'm going to see if I can get passport stuff figured out sometime in the next two weeks, and also work on my egypt app. Again. Ew. And keep trying to learn arabic. And go to the library to get the 3 trillion books that I want to read by the end of the summer. I've only read one of my "serious" books. Doesn't bode well. I still want to read "Leviathan," "The Prince," and some others that I have in a list on the side of my dresser. And maybe go back and actually read some of the textbooks that I never read. And suck it up this year, or I'll die. Mad crazy loves and thanks for your ears, eyes, and prayers :-)

<3~ Brittany <><

P.S.- "Shake it till the moon becomes the sun..."
P.P.S.- Yes, the song changed. Pon de Replay. Woot :-)
P.P.P.S.- Changed again. Howie Day - "COllide." Mmm... :-)

//EDIT//
Yeah, just re-found the big band station on Launch. Did I ever mention that I want to be a nightclub singer in the 20s? "Bei mir bist du schoen means you're grand..." Again, if I ever get married, the guy is going to have to be darn cool and let me sing to him all the time and be all 20s-sultry-dame-ish :-D

//EDIT AGAIN//
Check it out: "Bell Bottom Trousers" - Guy Lombardo... yeah...

If we can do caramels instead of coffee (or caramels and coffee) I would LOVE to take you out and chat. Seriously. Hopefully I'll see you on Thursday, if not, I will try to track you down so we can make plans.

PS. I'm hella jealous that you get to do video editing this summer ... that's my major and I'M not even doing it. Oh well, I guess that's what the school year is for. I want to see it when you're done!

Caramels? Is that some california replacement for overpriced caffeinated products? And it depends, do you pronounce it correctly? :-) Yes, we do need to get together. I might be there thursday, but I can't make any promises. And the video editing is just taking clips out of raw-ish footage and putting them together. Ridiculously frustrating is that I was just getting the hang of the program (WinDVD) and my boss decides, again, that the software I'm using isn't good enough. So now I have to use pinacle (or something like that, starts with "p"). And I don't know HOW to use pinacle (or whatever), but Roger showed me, but it means that I have to be in his office when I use it, which means that there will be two people crammed into a space roughly the size of a broom closet which also houses one regular sized computer and one mondo one. And Roger is seriously cool, but I don't want to be always in his way. So what I'm saying is, take time off of work and I'll see if I can sneak you in to do what I'm doing :-)

Re: Books...

How about Plato's Republic? I figure if I'm going to be all governmenty-politicy I should probably read the classics one of these days.

And I can't believe you called me "little lady."

Seriously.
